ich war ein Jahr Austauschstudentin an der WMU in Kalamazoo MI. Deine Bilder vom Lake Michigan erinnern mich an eine wunderbare Zeit !!! :-) ... und machen mich ein "bisschen" neidisch...

I can't believe you were an exchange student in Kalamazoo, as well as lived in NYC and are now in Berlin. Small world!! I'm always happy to hear that people can associate something other than downtown Detroit (or Eminem) with Michigan!

Das ist etwas schief angekommen, habe leider nie in NYC gelebt...(es nur besucht). Eine Verwechslung?
Ich habe das Jahr in Kzoo wirklich sehr sehr genossen, v.a. weil ich tolle und freundliche Menschen kennenlernen konnte und viele gute Erfahrungen machte, wie Du vielleicht in Berlin. Auch akademisch war es wichtig für mich und hat meine berufliche Entwicklung geprägt.
In Berlin lebe ich nun seit 11 Jahren, davon 1,5 Jahre in good old Wilmersdorf...;-)
Also ich lese gespannt Deinen Blog und schwelge in Erinnerungen

okay, no NYC, I must have my stories mixed up. Glad you enjoyed Michigan in any case:-) I promise more beautiful sunsets and midwest friendly people await you if you ever return.
