World Cup day, USA vs England! How exciting!









I mean not as exciting as being in Germany four years ago, but still exciting!









In Brooklyn, it looked like things were starting early at The Chip Shop and Flyods.









Happy South Korean fans were cheering outside at 10am this morning. My tailor and his wife are South Korean. There is a language barrier between us but they were thrilled to try to tell me about the game.


I saw a guy walking towards Floyds with an American flag shirt on, ala country western singer from 1992, but today it worked:-)

I will avoid trash talk for obvious reasons :-) But go USA!

Here's my only editorial comment...enough with the vuvuzela already!! How annoying was that in the background for 90 minutes.

The Celebration

Last year I celebrated my birthday with this fantastic cake.



And so this year, to mark a special birthday, I had another special and timely cake!



Couldn't ask for more!!! Thanks family!

One of those days

Have you ever have one of those...

did I even eat lunch,

the girl next to me on the subway smells like a dog fart,

why is New York's finest searching my building when I got home,

...kind of days?

The solution could only be my last piece of imported Buddy's pizza. And now all is right with the world:-)
